#GetOutTheBias

Women running for office face outdated notions about gender and leadership. In the lead-up to the 2020 election, we’re highlighting how gender bias impacts women candidates and what you can do to challenge it. Together we can #GetOutTheBias and focus on what really matters: candidates’ ideas and experience.

We're bringing the conversation local, highlighting three candidates running for Congress in Massachusetts's 4th Congressional District Election. Join our panelists Becky GrossmanDr. Natalia Linos, and Jesse Mermell, as they share their experiences as women running for office. Opening remarks will be made by Ruthanne Fuller, the 31st Mayor of the City of Newton and the first woman Mayor in Newton's history.
